Well that's an other year gone, new year was a quite event sitting out under the stars in a great location watching the moon go by and of course snapping a few photos along the way. and I am glad it's over as it was a hectic year at Peter Franz Photography. Started already getting organised for this year, need to spend a bit more time marketing Peter Franz Photography. Christmas break was great spent time at Coffin Bay national Park taking photographs (what else do you do on holidays) these will be up on the web site shortly . This is going to be a great year have lots of new work planned and more to add to the list.

Well Christmas is nearly upon us and where it came from who only knows, it's been a hectic year but a good year achieved a lot. Most of it in getting myself organised in work structure, were I want to be heading in the coming year. Did some more work with Light writing if you look at my website you'll find a number of images created with the technique of writing with light. writing with light is a creative way of adding text or symbols to images. This technique I will develop more as the new year progresses. And what will I be doing over the Christmas break, what else but take more photos. Have a great Christmas and a happy new year.

Well I'am back again its taken awhile for me to start writing, were all the months have gone I just don't know but I need to make more of an effort to keep the blog up to date.otherwise you wont know whats happening at Peter Franz Photography.Have been very busy getting my business structure in place and I think I'am finally there.give and take a few months.
Some of the last month was taken up with preparing my entries for SAPPA (state awards for Australian Institute of Professional Photographers) I entered 3 images in the Landscape category and I must say that I'am pretty pleased with myself 1 of the images was awarded a silver with distinction. You can see this image on my we site www.peterfranzgallery.com.au
The title of the image is " A day at the Bay"so make sure you have a look the next challenge is to see how it can be improved and then enter it in the National competition next year.

PANORAMA
Hi form Peter Franz Photography
At Peter Franz Photography we do everything in house taking the image printing on a variety of mediums to matting and framing. So there is always something to do. Trying to get more work with photography which is coming in slowly. I've also been busy creating a large panorama during the week which is creating quite a bit of interest!
I'll get a few images organised when I write my next blog.
So long from peter at Peter Franz Photography.
Well I must say it's been a very full on week, got a nice little job this week photographing a house to be produced as a print on canvas.

UP AND RUNNING - PETER FRANZ PHOTOGRAPHY
So it's my first blog! Bear with me while I get the hang of things!
So the last few months have seen me flat out getting the sutdion up and running. I now have all my studio lighting and equipment in place and just practicing as much as possible! I'm using a great system, FX 400 Elinchrom and so far seems fairly easy to use. Although it's a different story when I get some different models in front of the camera, I'm still thinking I might need to buy a flash meter as it will most probably make life easier in getting the right F stop to shutter speed. It depends if the bottomless pit has anything left.
So I'm feeling positive and looking forward to creating a good portfolio. So keep reading and you can follow my photographic journey!
Bye for now! Peter Franz
